Microgeneration Scheme (MCS)
G. Simmonds Electrical Limited t/a GSE Solar Systems are accredited for the installation of Solar PV Systems under the Microgeneration Scheme (MCS) under certificate number ELC54002. The scheme is designed to ensure that certain high standards are met on all installations and clients can only benefit from the Feed in Tariff if the installer is accredited. REAL Assurance

Part P
In January 2005, Government Approved Document Part P of the Building Regulations came into force. These regulations introduced safety standards to electrical installations (electrical safety) within domestic properties.
This means that, with few exceptions, any electrical work undertaken in your home, including the installation of solar panels, must be notified to the Local Authority Building Control for inspection.
